TGD (Thermo Glass Door) SpA becomes part of the LU-VE Group.
In February, SEST SpA acquired TGD, which specializes in the production of glass doors and closure systems for professional, industrial and domestic refrigeration equipment.
With this acquisition, the LU-VE Group now has an aggregated turnover of around €240 million, more than 1,400 skilled employees and 9 production facilities in 6 different countries.
TGD (based in Travacò Siccomario, Pavia) with over 70 employees, is one of the youngest and most dynamic companies in the sector: turnover in fact went from €2.2 million in 2009 to €14.2 million in 2013 (an increase of 12.5% on the previous year).
SEST (based in Limana, Belluno) has over 600 employees, 3 production facilities (in Italy, Poland and Russia)and a turnover of more than € 70 million. It is the European market leader (EU and Western Europe) in the production of finned heat exchange coils for commercial refrigeration and air conditioning.
Now, in its 40th anniversary year, SEST is putting a synergetic strategy with TGD into operation , with the objective of consolidating market presence and guaranteeing a range which is even more complete and specialized.
This operation aims to exploit the complementarity of the two companies in order to provide products which are even more customized, with reduced energy consumption and minimum environmental impact, and also to give the highest possible level of customer-care service.
LU-VE Group, SEST and TGD will present the new partnership at EuroShop 2014 in Düsseldorf (Germany), 16-20 February - stand 17C21.
