26 June 2016: After the official inauguration,
the new Panama Canal opens for business, aiming to double traffic
capacity and allow the passage of very large “New Panamax” ships
Uboldo
(VA), Italy – 27 June 2016 – LU-VE Group, European leader in the
production of equipment for refrigeration and air conditioning, is proud
to announce that it has contributed to the New Panama Canal project,
supplying the technology for the close control air conditioning of the
infrastructure’s “brain” or rather, the control systems which regulate
all the traffic: the data centre, uninterruptible power supply rooms,
electrical storage and battery rooms as well as the traffic control
centres.
The Group has supplied approximately 200 machines of
different types and sizes, manufactured by TECNAIR LV and LU-VE Exchangers
in their production facilities in Uboldo (VA), Italy. In particular,
TECNAIR LV provided the close control A/C equipment coupled to an equal
number of air cooled condensers from LU-VE Exchangers. The contract was
managed by LU-VE Iberica of Madrid, the Group’s Spanish branch.
Iginio Liberali (founder and president of LU-VE Group, which is listed on the AIM stock market) said:
“In
the year that we celebrate our first 30 years, and on the eve of our
elevation to the senior market of the Italian Stock Exchange, we are
especially proud to represent the Made-in-Italy concept in a project at
this level. The raw material of LU-VE is brain-power and our added value
comes from our human resources, providing research, development and
technology: elements that we have always invested in. I consider this to
be not only an important result but also a stimulus to tackle the
challenges which await us, with the same wisdom and the same commitment.
New successes will come from this!”
